A George III Silver Chamber-Candlestick, by Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard, London, 1815 the base circular and with gadrooned border, with leaf-cast scroll handle supporting a tapering extinguisher, the central stem terminates in a tapering socket and with gadrooned nozzle, engraved on the base, extinguisher and nozzle with a crest15.5cm wide over handle, 10oz 1dwt, 312grFully marked under base and further part marked on extinguisher and nozzle. There is some wear to the marks, particularly to those on the extinguisher. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the high points and the engraving. The socket has been pushed down into the base very slightly. Rocks slightly when placed on a flat surface.

A George III Silver Chamber-Candlestick, by Timothy Renou, London, 1793 the base shaped circular and on three tapering feet, with leaf-capped scroll handle and gadrooned border, the stem supporting a tapering extinguisher and terminating in a baluster socket with detachable nozzle15.3cm wide over handle, 11oz 1dwt, 343grFully marked under base and further part marked on extinguisher. The marks with only some minor wear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The handle has perhaps been reattached.

A George III Silver Chamber-Candlestick, by Thomas Holland, London, 1805 shaped circular and on collet foot, the rim, handle and dish each applied with foliage, the tubular stem with detachable nozzle, the handle supporting a conical extinguisher, engraved with a crest15.5cm diameter, 11oz 18dwt, 371grFully marked under base and further part marked on nozzle and extinguisher. There is some wear to the marks but each is legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a sortening to the high points and the engraved crest. The finial on the extinguisher is bruised.
