A rare Chelsea gold anchor period bocage candlestick surmounted with a cockrel, three chickens and their young and raised on a gilded rococo style base, c1770, 22cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Sconce probably a replacement with some repair to its rim. Some loss and repair to the bocage. Repair to the smallest chickens left wing and the right foot of the base.

CONDITION REPORT: One tray foot chip, turquoise candle stick foot chips and cracks, small jug chip.
SOWERBY; a pair of Queens ivory candlesticks, both with impressed mark inscribed 'Queen Ann [sic] Candlestick, J. Mortlock & Co, London', height 16.6cm (one af). CONDITION REPORT: Firing cracks to sconce, caused in manufacture, on both. One has a break and crude repair to corner of base and has a chip to upper corner. These pieces are made of glass.

A Bow porcelain candlestick, 18th century, modelled as a fox seeking prey in front of a bocage background, on scrolled polychrome and gilt base, red anchor mark to rear, 8¼in. (21cm.) high, lacks top section.* Condition: Probably made as a candlestick. Candle deposit or top section missing, with a glued break to the trunk approx. 1.5in. from the top and one small branch missing from left of top section. Losses to leaves and flowers on outside of piece throughout, and bocage missing totally from end of two branches just above fox at left and right side. Fox and base in good condition, with no damage or restoration. Small glaze flaw to front of base from the making. Some gilt wear.
