A pair of pottery candlesticks with applied geese by Anna Lambert, 20cms high; together with another similar applied with a duck, 20cms high (3).Condition ReportPair of candlesticks - one very small glaze chip to one to the corner of one leaf; the other has a glaze chop to the tip of one leaf and one leg has been re-glued to the base. The single candlestick has one petal with a firing crack and the ducks tail has been restored. All with crazing to the glaze.

A pair of early Victorian silver candlesticks 1841, maker John Watson, with detachable sconces and loaded bases. Height 28.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The candlesticks are in generally good condition with minor issues. One sconce has a 3 mm x 2 mm hole in the upper section. The same candlestick appears to have had old repairs around the bottom edge. There are three stress fractures in the sections between the scrolls on the second tier of the base. There is a seam mark visible on the bottom knop. There do not appear to be any further holes. The second candlestick sconce is in good order. The base has one small rubbed hole. Again like the other candlestick there may have been repairs along the bottom edge where the base plate joins the cast section of the candlestick. The hallmarks to both sticks are clear and fully legible to both the sconce and base.
