THOR (2011) - Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) Stunt Mjolnir Hammer - Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) stunt Mjolnir hammer from Kenneth Branagh's Thor. Gifted to him by his father, Odin (Anthony Hopkins), Thor wielded Mjolnir as his signature weapon and as a mode of flight until it was taken from him and sent to Earth, where Thor had to prove himself worthy enough to wield his hammer again.Mjolnir hammers from the first Thor film are rare compared to their Thor 2 counterparts. This lightweight stunt hammer's head is made of dense, rigid foam rubber engraved with intricate Nordic designs and runes on the outer sections. Painted in steel gray to resemble metal, this hammer has a brown and silver-color patterned leather-wrapped PVC pipe handle with a small brown leather wrist loop attached to the end. Production purposefully distressed this item to appear well used and battle-damaged. It exhibits small cracking on the rubber foam and scuffing on the leather. MAD MAX: FURY ROAD (2015) - Buzzard Fleet Buggy - A Buzzard fleet buggy from George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road. Imperator Furiousa (Charlize Theron) drove her Tatra T815 War Rig through Buzzard territory to put space between her and Immortan Joe's (Hugh Keays-Byrne) fleet, as she had bargained for safe passage through a biker gang-controlled canyon. While the Buzzard buggies featured rusted spikes, this version did not make it to the final cut of the film. This right-hand drive, stick shift vehicle consists of a customized production-distressed red and white 1948 Hillman Minx frame with all-terrain tires on a Mitsubishi L300 4x4 chassis. The interior was stripped with only the driver's seat still intact, a roll cage, an installed emergency brake for stunt turns, and a battery kill switch. Following production, the gas tank was removed for transportation, but it has since been replaced with a racing cell gas tank. Additional features include vented metal window inserts, an open sunroof, a thick pipe front bumper, and two long metal side exhaust pipes. This vehicle was intentionally distressed by production to appear heavily aged with rust and dust. It features an orange and brown matte finish applied throughout. It is unregistered, intended as memorabilia for display purposes only, and not designed for street use. Additionally, while it remains functional, no warranty is made or implied as to this lot's road-worthiness. This lot exhibits chipped paint, a buildup of grime, and shell corrosion.
