19th Century Austro-Hungarian meerschaum pipe by Weisz of Budapest, decorated in relief with a soldier on horseback, hinged silver cover and mounts, stamped with makers mark and in original case with makers stamp spelt Weiss, 13.5cm high There is a possible flake to the outer side of his attaché case beneath his coat. Some discolouration to pipe. Case is worn and has a split near the catch - General condition consistent with age **

19th Century Circus interest, late 19th century Culeen`s Circus poster, dated `Monday January 8th, 1883, and every evening during the week, Blakey Moor, Blackburn`, advertising various acts including Felice Napoli, one of the earliest showmen to gain international fame with a strongman act, the poster 29cm wide 87cm long, together with, a letter to Felice Napoli presenting him with an accompying meerschaum pipe, as a token of appreciation of his talent and performing at the Royal Clarence Theatre, Dover, for two weeks, the letter dated march 1st 1884 and signed by proprietor A.Briant, the pipe in the form of a hand holding the bowl, silver mounted, in original red leather case, together with a quantity of circus poster mainly relating to Napoli, (qty)
