A FRENCH PATINATED AND PARCEL GILT METAL THREE LIGHT GASOLIER IN NEOCLASSICAL STYLE, Circa 1870 and later refitted for electricity, with flambeau glass shades and sconces on foliate cast branches, issuing from a triform boss with recessed relief cast Vitruvian scrollwork, beneath three fluted and guilloche cast uprights rising in the manner of a tripod athenienne to winged lionhead finials; with Medusa mask cast medallions hung from laurel swags on a Greek key cast circlet; a central pipe rod rising to a foliate cast ceiling fitment and hanging loop, height: 132cm, width: 80cm
