Martin Dunbar-Nasmith VC, a silver pipe lamp, the pivoting silver spirit ball with provision for a wick, with antelope horn handle, the mounting collar with presentation inscription “RGA Mess DIYATALWA from Vice Admiral Sir Martin Dunbar-Nasmith VC KCB in Gratitude For Much Good Polo 1932-1934, hallmarked London 1933. One knock to spirit bowl otherwise good condition. Admiral Martin Dunbar-Smith earned his Victoria Cross while commanding His Majesty’s Submarine E11 during the period May to June 1915 in the Dardanelles when he successfully sank 11 enemy vessels.
