Imperial German Model S-98 nA Jager Battalion Marked Bayonet, scarce example of a Issued 2nd type with two-piece wood grips, in steel mounted leather sheath. Standard pipe back blade with Erfurt mark and stamped on back W over 07. Top of scabbard stamped “9. J. 3. 56” (Lauenburg Jager Batl. No.9). Generally a very good condition example.
