An Early 20th Century Side Drum to the 1st Battalion Scots Guards, the brass shell stamped with maker`s name Henry Potter & Co., 36 West Street, Charing Cross Road, London, and numbered 4, the fascia painted with the Royal Coat of Arms and regimental battle honours, the wood frame painted in red, black and white, pierced to take the ten tension ropes each with a white leather tug, 38cm diameter, together with a label inscribed "Side drum No.4 carried by Cpl J Wright, B Coy from April 1918 until the end of the campaign", with a pair of drum sticks; a Pipe Banner to the 1st Battalion Scots Guards, in blue taffeta, with appliqued and embroidered regimental Coat of Arms in gold and silver bullion thread and coloured threads, with fringe border. A Military Practise Side Drum by Premier, inscribed Pipe-Drum Batter, the red spangled body with eight chromium plated suspension struts, in a canvas case, together with a spare snare, a quantity of drum sticks, sheet music and a belt; a pair of cymbals. **This drum was used for practise sessions and cocktail parties.
A First World War 2nd Tyneside, 21st Northumberland Fusiliers Piper`s Outfit, attributed to Piper John Strachan 21/1149 from Wallsend, Tyne & Wear, comprising a green jacket, Black Watch kilt, plaid, crossbelt, waist belt with scarce Tynside Scottish badge, Piper`s glengarry with Tyneside Scottish pinback badge, a large Tyneside Scottish sporran, stockings, spats, epaulettes etc, together with a photograph of him with his father Pipe Major Munro Strachan 21/1147 and other related ephemera.

CHAPMAN GRAHAM: (1941-1989) English Comedian, a member of the Monty Python team. Rare signed 5 x 8 photograph, an amusing image of Chapman seated in a full length pose smoking a pipe. Signed in blue ink with his name alone to the clear background of the image. Together with a signed cheque by Phil Silvers, made payable to Laurence Marks for the sum of $617.30, 9th December 1963, the red bank cancellation only lightly affecting the first letter of the signature, also including a signed 8 x 10 photograph by Martin Scorsese, showing him in a head and shoulders pose on the set of Casino, signed in bold black ink with his name alone at the head of the image, and a holograph D.S. by footballer Billy Wright, recounting an anecdote involving an England v.
