[Rowlandson (Thomas)] [Rustic Scenes], hand-coloured aquatint miniature panorama of 22 different scenes with brown wash border, on 5 conjoined sheets forming continuous strip, c.35 x 1960mm., small printed paper label 'R.Ackermann's Repository of Arts' mounted on verso of first scene, first scene rather browned and soiled with small tear to upper edge (repaired), on roller housed in original boxwood drum covered with glazed pictorial aquatint scene (repeated from strip) with "Pubd. Nov. 12 1799" at foot, drum 63mm. tall, a little rubbed, tiny chips to edge of top of drum, preserved in modern morocco-backed cloth drop-back box, morocco labels, [Abbey, Life 461, print of 8 strip views; Bobins 1608], small 8vo, [R.Ackermann], [1799].⁂ Very rare charming miniature panorama. It appears to be part of the print in undivided sheet form described by Abbey. The first scene depicts an auction, others include a Punch & Judy show, dancers, musicians, a market, and a fencing match or duel.

Darly (Mary & Matthew, publishers) 24 Caricatures by Several Ladies, Gentlemen, Artists &c., [later Caricatures, Macaronies & Characters], 4 parts in 2 vol., engraved throughout with 4 hand-coloured decorative titles, advertisement leaf and 96 hand-coloured etched plates, paper guards, offsetting to verso of plates from following plate, spotting to final plate in vol.2 and some other occasional light spotting or soiling but generally clean and bright, Prince Henry Duke of Gloucester's copy with his bookplate, later dark brown morocco, elaborately gilt, by Rivière, spines gilt, g.e., a little rubbed at joints and edges, one or two marks, [Bobins 1686], 8vo, M.Darly, 1771-72.⁂ Delightful collection of caricatures issued by the husband and wife team of artist-publishers. They became specialists in caricatures, particularly satirizing the fashions of the day with their West End shop becoming known as "The Macaroni Print-Shop". A third volume of this series, again with 2 parts of 24 caricatures each, was published in 1773.

A .577/450" Martini Henry Mk I rifle upgraded to Mk II, 49½" overall, barrel 33½" marked near the rearsight "NS NEP" (National Service, Nepal), the framed marked "---/L.S.A. Co/1875/II" (the crown and "VR" not visible), fullstocked with steel mounts including 2 barrel bands, sling swivels, and steel cleaning rod, the front band with bayonet lug, the butt retaining traces of ordnance markings beneath later Nepalese characters. GWO & generally GC (some wear overall); with a triangular socket bayonet, in its brass mounted leather scabbard, the locket bearing Nepalese markings. GC This weapon is one of 52,000 small arms retrieved from the Royal Palace of Lagan Silekhana, Kathmandu, Nepal in 2003. With a very detailed print out of the history of the rifle. Contained in a fur lined gun slip, together with an inert cartridge. £400-500
