THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE - ELECTRIC LADYLAND - A rare 1st UK pressing of the lauded album released on 25 October 1968 on Track (613008/9). This 1st pressing has a cover spread with 'unwrapped/floating' gloss laminate applied, matt print areas left exposed at the two cut edges where the albums insert. Blue text and Ernest J Day credits. Earliest A1/B1 "crossed out" matrix codes. The records are in Ex condition, with only a few light surface marks notable, perhaps with this more apparent on side B- though there are no deeper marks or scratches. The striking gatefold sleeve is in VG condition. There are no rips or tears, though there is wear to the lamintion both on the outside and inside when opened. Some minor edgewear.
