One of 250 paper copies. "This has the odd distinction of being the only title printed twice... Morris was so eager to get the first edition [i.e. 1891] into print that he would not wait for Crane's illustrations" but later related by Morris's secretary Sydney Cockerell that "Morris was no less dissatisfied than [Philip] Webb with Crane's illustrations to his Glittering Plain & thought this volume his one Kelmscott Press Failure" (Peterson).
