SINATRA FRANK: (1915-1998) American Singer & Actor, Academy Award winner. Signed and inscribed 9 x 13 print, being a reproduction of a pencil drawing of Sinatra in a smiling head and shoulders pose by artist Linda Birkinshaw. Signed and inscribed (`Hi Jim-Frank Sinatra`) to a light area at the base of the image, which also features a facsimile signature of Sinatra, 1976. Matted in blue and ivory to an overall size of 14 x 18. Some very light age wear and extremely light discoloration to the edges, about VG Apparently presented to Jim Pitney, a chauffeur employed by Sinatra in London during the 1970s.

GREENAWAY KATE: (1846-1901) English Children`s book Illustrator and Author. A.N.S., K. Greenaway, one page, 8vo, n.p., n.d., to an unidentified correspondent, and quite possibly the concluding page of a longer letter. The artist writes, in full, `I wish you would give me if you have it one of the covers of Wideawake. The child with her hands folded (I don`t mean the cover; only the print that is on it.` Together with two original unsigned pencil drawings, apparently by Greenaway, each one page, 8vo, n.p., n.d., the first depicting a mother and young child standing together in a full length pose, annotated in pencil `figures too straight`, and the second showing an open window. CHRISTIE AGATHA: (1890-1976) English Crime Writer. Typed Manuscript, unsigned, with numerous holograph corrections, twenty two pages, 4to, n.p. n.d. (c.1941). The manuscript is entitled A Case of Buried Treasure and is one of Christie`s short stories featuring Miss. Marple, beginning `"And this," said Jane Helier, completing her introductions, "is Miss. Marple!" Being an actress, she was able to make her point. It was clearly the climax, the triumphant finale! Her tone was equally compounded of reverent awe and triumph. The odd part of it was that the object thus led up to and proudly proclaimed was merely a gentle, rather fussy looking elderly spinster.` Christie has made ink corrections in her hand to each of the pages and there are also a few corrections in pencil in an unidentified hand. Some light overall creasing and age wear, G The story was published in America, in the magazine This Week (1941), with the alternative title Strange Jest and first appeared in print in England in Strand magazine in 1944 under the title used in the present manuscript. In the story Miss. Marple is reunited with Jane Helier whose friends, Edward Rossiter and Charmain Stroud are saddened by the news of the death of their Uncle, particularly as the inheritance he promised them has come to nothing.

Tibbets (1915-2007) American Brigadier General in the United States Air Force, pilot of the Enola Gay, the first aircraft to drop an atomic bomb in the history of warfare, Francis Gabreski (1919-2002) American Fighter Ace of World War II, William `Pete` Knight (1929-2004) American Test Pilot & Astronaut, Michael Novosel (1922-2006) American Air Force Pilot who served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam and Robin Olds (1922-2007) American Fighter Pilot of World War II.
