Her most popular work was the 1933 memoir Testament of Youth, recounting her experiences during the First World War, and the origins of her journey towards pacifism. TLS. Dated June 1, 1962. "…'Letters to a Friend' really is out of print…" She suggests that the recipient of the letter should urge the local library to purchase a limited edition and make it available to all readers.
