*Sopwith `Pup`. A collection of eighty-one original dyeline construction diagrams of this aircraft from the Sopwith Aviation Company Ltd, Kingston-on-Thames, each print approx. 29 x 41in (73.5 x 104cm) correctly folded, each labelled and numbered with Drg. No., Scale 3`-1 foot, 1/2 scale, 1:1 and other sizes, with dates mostly 1917, subjects include Lewis Auto Gun mounting, General Arrangement of Centre Section, Control Column Detail, 80 h.p. Le Rhone Engine Mounting, Bracket for Scarff-Vickers Gun Gear, Main Plane Ribs and others of construction detail, contained in a carton inscribed `If anyone else leaves these drawings in a heap and not folded properly they can find employment elsewhere, Tim` (81)

*Schneider Trophy. A gilded-brass cased miniature mantle timepiece by the Zenith Watch Company, with white dial, gold hour and minute hands, and blued-steel alarm hand, engraved `Congratulations to the Schneider Cup Winner from a few of his Comrades at Butts School`, the case on bun feet, 2in (5.1cm) square, (glass lacking), together with a print, after the original painting by Coombe Richards of the 1929 R.A.F. Schneider Trophy Team, 14.5 x 19.75in (36.8 x 50.2cm), framed and glazed. Flight Lieutenant S.N. `Pebbler` Webster, winner of the 1927 Schneider Trophy Race at Venice attended Butts School, Walsall, Staffordshire, before joining the Royal Air Force on 1st April 1918. He was selected to join the R.A.F. High Speed Flight to provide aircraft and air and ground crews for the Schneider Trophy Contests. (2)

*Postlethwaite (Mark). `Desert Encounter` Messerschmitt ME-109, an original painting depicting two ME109s forcing down British twin engined bomber over desert landscape, mixed-media on board, signed by the artist mounted in glazed frame, 11 x 15in (28 x 38cm), together with an artist`s proof print intended for limited-edition signed run of prints, this example signed by both pilots Emil Clade (Me109) and Sgt. `Jimmy` James AFC & DFM; printed caption to lower border inscribed `Me109s led by Ofzr Emil Clade intercept the Bristol Bombay of 216 Ssuadron flown by Sgt. Jimmy James carrying VIP Passenger Lt. General William Gott CB, CBE, DSO, & MC, appointed new commander 8th Army: his death in this combat in August 1942 resulted in the appointment of the unknown Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery as sucessor to Gott` signed by the artist and captioned `Artist`s Proof` (2)

A very large framed print after the original art-deco poster of the early 1930s, mounted in glazed frame, together with Bentley Mulsanne framed poster, largest 50 x 40in (127 x 102cm), and a group of modern retrospective framed motoring prints, c. 1960s-1970s, including a series featuring Alfa-Romeo coachwork styles by Carrozzeria touring, also including others depicting Lancia, Bentley and others etc. (14)

Issued 3rd Class singles from Coldstream to Glanton, Glaisdale to Egton Bridge (renamed 2/1892), Glanton (closed 22/9/1930) to Chathill (light crease), Goathland to Grosmont (2 examples of same print), Hinderwell to Kettleness (2 slightly different), Levisham to Goathland, Newcastle to Morpeth (2 - 1 is Revised fare), Sandsend to Whitby West Cliff (2 examples of same print), Scarborough to Whitby West Cliff (creased), Sleights to Goathland, Staithes to Hinderwell, Whitby to Doncaster GN and Egton Bridge, and Whitby West Cliff to Sandsend. The lot also includes a Bicycle Insurance single from Whitby, a Cycle Check Ticket from Scarborough to West Cliff Whitby, and 11 severed halves (6 o/h from Glanton, r/h Glanton to Alnmouth and Alnwick, r/h Edlingham and Morpeth to Whittingham, and r/h Kelso to Alnmouth) (31)
*South Eastern Railway. A selection of seventeen 1st Class, five 2nd Class, and fifteen 3rd Class vertically-printed returns. Comprises a variety of types, colour schemes, print variations, and validities, including Cheap Trains, Cheap Trip on Wednesday Only (all three classes), Friday to Monday, Special Fare, and Volunteers in Uniform. The lot also includes three vertically-printed 1st Class Excess Fare issues. Three tickets have minor creases where the two halves join, and two with creases elsewhere; otherwise condition is good (40)
*Southern Railway. Twenty 1st Class and sixty-six 3rd Class singles issued between 1923 and 1937, mainly from open stations, but including a number of transitional prints. The lot also includes a Half Day Excursion print from Wimbledon, a Parking ticket from Cannon Street, and 120 severed halves. Ten of the whole tickets have light creases, otherwise condition is good/very good (208)
*Germany and Italy. Edmondson platform tickets issued in the late 1890s and first two decades of the 20th century (albeit few contain the year in the date) comprising, from Germany - Colmar H.B., Duisburg (paper on back), Ems, Harzburg, St. Goarshausen (17/04/1897; paper on back), Stuttgart Hauptbhf (vertical print), and Westerland (the first six at a cost of 0.10M, the last one at 10 Pfg.), and from Italy - Alassio, Firenze Centrale and Firenze Centrale FS (both with 1888 conditions on back), Rapallo FS, Venezia (with 1888 conditions on back), and Ventimiglia (with 1912 conditions on back) (13)

*Joint Railway Steamers. 24 Excess to 1st Class singles for journeys between Ryde and Portsmouth and vice versa issued on Boat Nos.1 to 7 (including print variations and different Set numbers), together with a similar ticket from Stokes Bay to Ryde issued on Boat No.2 (stained), a 1st Class single from Southsea Pier to Ryde Pier Gates, an undated 3rd Class 1/- ticket to view the fleet from Portsmouth or Ryde Piers to Spithead and back, and a Perambulator, Go Cart or Bicycle single from Ryde Pier Head to Portsmouth Harbour (light crease).
