A brass repeating carriage clock, by Charles Frodsham, 20th century, the case with swing handle above moulded cornice with fluted frieze, three-quarter reeded columns and bevelled glass panels, on plinth base, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals within gilt-brass mask with scrolling foliate decoration, the twin train eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate signed Charles Frodsham London, 17cm high.
A grand sonnerie carriage clock with gorge case, repeat and alarm, striking on two gongs. The back plate inscribed Payne & Co. 163 New Bond Street London. Silvered platform levered escapement. The underside with three position lever. S/N to back of works 5732. Probably made in France for the English market and retailed in London. 19cm h.

Richard et Cie - late 19th century, the twin train movement stamped with the maker's mark and serial no. 374, striking the half hours on a coiled gong, in a Corniche case with Roman white enamel dial, 17.5 cm high (handle up), in the original maroon morocco case (faded) with key. * The movement cleaned and restored in 2013 by Robert Cusins of Cheltenham.

A French gilt brass carriage clock, early 20th century, signed to the white, Roman enamel dial by the retailer Barlow of Paris, with Arabic outer minute track and blue central rosette and half hour markers, the twin train movement, no.2383, with half hour bell strike, in an Anglaise case, 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high with handle up, with key.
A Late 19th/Early 20th Century French Carriage Clock, No.986, the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals to the eight day two train movement striking and repeating on a gong, contained in gilt brass and bevelled glass case with moulded top and fluted frieze, reeded columns with Corinthian capitols to corners, on plinth base, 7ins highExternally the item presents in very good condition showing marks and wear commensurate with age and moderate usage with no damage to any of the glass panels. The handle at the top functions correctly. The rear door opens correctly and the hinge shows no sign of wear. The mechanism appears to be complete however we cannot warrant the originality of all components. The clocks winds, runs and sets but should be regarded as untested, The white enamel dial is in good condition showing no hairline cracks or discolouration. There is one slight mark to the glass at the front around the 5 o'clock position, this is a scratch possibly 3mm or 4mm in length. Prospective bidders are strongly advised to study all images closely prior to bidding as they form part of the condition report.
A 19th Century French Carriage Clock, stamped encircled B trademark, the 2ins diameter white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, with gilt engine turned slip, to the eight day two train movement, striking and repeating on a gong, and with lever platform escapement, contained in gilt case with fluted frieze and apron, and female figurative pilasters, 5.75ins highExternally the clock presents in excellent overall condition. The gilding being complete and in good condition apart from some light rubs commensurate with age and general usage. All of the glass is intact and appears to be original, free from any chips or scratches. The handle is in good condition and functions correctly. The mechanism is complete however we cannot warrant the originality of all components. The dial enamel work is fine and free from any chips or hairline cracks and the surrounding gold panel is in good order. The clocks winds, runs and sets but should be regarded as untested. Prospective bidders are strongly advised to study all images closely prior to bidding as these form part of the condition report.
