A Good Brass Strike and Repeat Carriage Clock, circa 1890, case with bow sided bevelled glass panels, carrying handle and repeat button, Corinthian capped corner columns, enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, twin barrel movement with a platform lever escapement and striking on a gong, movement backplate numbered 332, with original fitted travelling case and original key numbered 33221cm high over handleCase with light surface scratches in parts, very minor dents to the edges in parts, glass panels are clean, dial with one very faint hairline crack from the dial centre to the 6 o'clock numeral, movement plates are very slightly dirty, movement in going order.
A Good Brass Engraved Strike and Repeat Calendar Alarm Carriage Clock, stamped Drocourt, circa 1880, elaborately floral engraved case with carrying handle and repeat button, enamel dial with Roman numerals, lower enamel dial with three dials for day/date and alarm, twin barrel movement with a silvered platform lever escapement, striking on a gong, movement backplate stamped DC for Drocourt and numbered 12119, with later travelling case17cm high over handleCase with minor scratches to the glass panels, enamel dials are clean with no signs of cracks or chips, movement is slightly dirty and needs cleaning, strike and repeat functions are working, movement in going order. Later travelling case and both keys are later.
A serpentine shaped, brass framed and bevelled glass cased Carriage Clock the white enamelled face having Roman numerals and blued hands, also marked "V. Samuel & Co, 65A Gracechurch St, E.C., French Made". The balance wheel escapement is visible through a bevelled glazed window to the top. Sold complete with the associated maroon velvet lined, lattice-textured brown leather bound carriage travelling case with the customary time-viewing window, this being replaceable with a matching leather bound slide-in panel stored in a pocket to the rear of the case. The winding and time-setting key is also to be found in a recess within the protective case. The timepiece is 3 5/16" wide, 2 13/16" deep and 5 1/16 " high (Swing handle down) and 6" high (Swing handle up). The clock was running throughout the evening of cataloguing.
A brass and bevelled glass cased Carriage Clock the enamelled face having Roman numerals, the escapement wheel of the Swiss made 11 jewels movement visible through a window to the top. 3 1/16" wide, 2 5/16" deep and 4 13/16" high (swing handle down), 5 13/16" high (swing handle up). Running at the time of lotting.

Gilt bronze clock. Dimensions: 50 x 56 cm. Superb Empire mantel clock, with carriage including a stag, a dog and the goddess Diana, Paris, circa 1810. The gilt bronze clock depicts Diana, goddess of the hunt, with the moon above her head and her attributes of bow and arrow in a carriage with a stag drawn by a pair of dogs. The French mechanism has a duration of 8 days, with a blue enamelled ring dial and Roman numerals. The black marble base features a relief decoration of garlands and allegorical scenes with cornucopias, a faun and other symbols. A very elegant clock with an excellent bronze statue and an appropriate composition. In perfect condition.
