Liberty, The Sigurd, a rare Cymric silver clock by Liberty & Co., Birmingham 1902, designed by Archibald Knox, model no. 579, the brass carriage timepiece movement with a captive winder and fast/slow lever, no. 225, the swollen rectangular case with an overhanging dome centred top, cast in low relief with scroll foliage, the circular dial enamelled in blue and turquoise, gilt inscribed Tempus Fugit numerals and heart at 6 o'clock, stamped marks, 9cm (3 1/2in) high; now sitting on a copper stand See Bernbaum, Anthony Origins of the Liberty Cymric Silver Range, The Journal of the Archibald Knox Society, 2014, p. 38 fig. 21 for the original pencil design of this design.
An Edwardian brass cased carriage clock, timepiece only. Height excluding carrying handle 11 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The clock winds and the hands adjust. The spring on the balance wheel is however damaged and the clock is not ticking. Other than this there seem to be no obvious faults with the movement. The case is in generally good condition although somewhat tarnished. The front glass panel has a small chip to the top left hand corner on the chamfered edge. We do not have a key.
A fine Edwardian silver mounted and tortoiseshell carriage clock, with French single-train movement, London hallmarks for 1904/05, complete with leather case marked "Henry Lewis Jeweller & Goldsmith, London". Height excluding carrying handle 12.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds with the integral key and is currently ticking away nicely. The dial is in first class condition with no cracks. All silverwork is in extremely good condition also with no faults. The hallmarks are extremely clear and fully legible. The feet are original and all in very good order. The handle and handle support brackets are all in good condition also. The tortoiseshell is in extremely good condition with no cracks or any stress fractures. The rear door hinge is fully hallmarked and in good order. The carrying case is tatty and allover scuffed with various losses to the leather surface. It is serviceable but tired. The silver makers mark is for J Batson & Son (Henry John Batson & Albert Edward Batson of Brewer Street, London).

A circa 1900 French brass cased carriage clock with visible escapement and alarm (alarm mechanism incomplete) the enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and subsidiary alarm dial 14.5 cm high handle down housed in a leather travel case CONDITION REPORTS Unknown if in working order. Enamel dial is cracked to the top right hand corner. As stated in description, alarm mechanism incomplete. The door is a bit sticky especially to the top. Pitting etc and tarnishing to the brass. Chips to the glass panes predominently on the back. General wear and tear conducive with age and use.

The ivory case has minor hair cracking over dial, to rear of left side panel beside hinge, to rear of right side panel beside opening of door, and to top of rear door, plus to back edge of roof. A limited edition silver 'Pompadour' carriage clock by Charles Frodsham commissioned for the Queen's Silver Jubilee (1977). The silver case has individually hallmarked components with fluted column detail and foliate fretwork front panel encircling white dial with Roman numerals. With bevelled glass panels, 'C F' engraved in backplate and 'Charles Frodsham, England, 11 Jewels' plaque on backplate also stamped '40'. Eight-day, single train movement.
