An early 20th century French R.& C. gilt brass striking and repeating Carriage Clock, the corniche case with white enamel dial, black Roman and Arabic numerals, the twin barrel movement striking on two coiled gongs to the back plate, marked 'R.& C.', and 'Breveté S.G.D.G.' and number 619, 7in (17.75cm) high handle up.
Oval engraved brass-cased repeater carriage clock, anonymous circa 1900, 2.5-inch white circular dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and moon hands, engraved rectangular surround, lever platform escapement, numbered 2349, striking on a coiled blued steel gong, case with bevelled oval roof glazing and engraved borders to handle, roof, side panels and ogee base, 14cm high excluding handle, 19.5cm overallCondition report: Case lacquer a little dull / uneven. Movement platform is a good fit but may be a replacement (platfrom not silvered). Repeat is working. No winder or travel box.
