A brass cased, bevelled glass Carriage Clock, exa'd by Mappin & Webb, London, the enamelled face with Roman numerals and blued hands, the balance wheel marked "R & Co, made in Paris", (ran briefly during cataloguing, appears to require lubricating/service), 3 1/8'' wide x 2 1/2'' deep x 4 9/16'' high with handle down.
A brass cased bevelled glass Carriage Clock having an enamelled face with black Roman numerals and hands, the balance wheel visible through an oval top windows, glass to left hand side chipped at a corner. The movement with a lion trademark, 3 1/8'' wide x 2 1/2'' deep x 4 5/8'' high, (not running at the time of catalouging).

Silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1916 by Henry Matthews, along with a three footed Birmingham silver sauceboat by Adie Bros Ltd 1930, a small silver christening mug in an Art Deco manner hallmarked for Birmingham 1950 by Sanders and Mackenzie, with a silver cased Staffordshire egg shell porcelain cup, hallmarked for Birmingham 1913 by William henry Sparrow, with two Birmingham silver handled button hooks, two sterling silver spoons with figure to top of stem handles, and a set of six twisted silver apostle spoons with matching sifter spoon and sugar tongs, all hallmarked London 1896 by Charles Boyton except the sifter spoon that is hallmarked Birmingham 1886 by S. Lesser and Sons Ltd.Weighable silver = Approx. 248.1 grams.
Moser of Paris strike repeat carriage clock. Serial number 5041. A lovely decorated clock in a gilded case adorned with caryatides. White dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary alarm dial, moon hands and bevelled glass panels. Two-train spring movement striking on a bell. Dimensions: 8" x 4½" x 3½". Condition: Good condition. Working at the time of cataloguing but not fully tested.

A MATTHEW NORMAN OF LONDON BRASS CASED CARRIAGE CLOCK, Swiss movement, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, columns to all four corners, bevel edged glazed panels to five sides, gong strike, the backplate marked 'Eleven Jewels, Unadjusted, Swiss Made, Movement Matthew Norman, London, 1750A', height with handle raised 18cm, with key and original receipt of purchase dated 1989, (3) (Condition Report: clock winds, runs and strikes on the correct hour, there is a UV pen postcode written on the underside, in the bottom left hand corner of the case are some flakes of white enamel but there is no visible damage to the dial, the movement seems slightly loose in the case)

A gilt brass eight-day carriage alarm clock, half-hour repeat, hour strike, with white enamel dial and subsidiary alarm dial at six o'clock, striking on a gong, 14.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: 20th century, French. Some scratches and small dents to the case, the gilt brass case misshapen in parts. The dial with some fading, some nibbles to the enamel dial. Clock is currently ticking when wound and striking.
