A 19th century gorge case, brass carriage clock, retailed by Parkinson & Frodsham,with push repeat, the 2.25" enamelled dial signed 'Parkinson & Frodsham', 'Paris' below 6 o'clock, with Roman numerals and minute markers, over another subsidiary alarm dial, both reserved against a ground engraved with scrolling foliage, the 8-day twin-drum movement with compensated balance and lever escapement, striking on a bell, the back plate engraved 'PARKINSON ET FRODSHAM PARIS', with handle down 13.3cm highCase with some spots of staining and oxidation all over. Alarm dial with barely visible hairline crack from 12 - 5 and chipped near the centre.Alarm, push repeat and striking train work, but not tested over a 24 hour period.Lacking winder.
