A French gilt brass carriage clock, Richard et Cie, Paris, late 19th century, the gong-striking movement with original silvered platform cylinder escapement and rectangular white enamel Roman numeral enamel dial in a corniche type case with hinged carrying handle 14cm high excluding handle with leather covered travelling case. condition report:** Movement is reasonably clean and running however would probably benefit from a clean and overhaul, dial is undamged and case is in fine condition only having a small chip to the upper left hand corner of the front glass. The leather covered travelling case is distressed with detached lid, clock retains original winding key.
