A fine 20th century repeater brass-cased Carriage Clock, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and signed Matthew Norman (London), with subsidiary alarm dial below, the gilded numbered movement striking on a gong, together with key, with inscribed presentation plaque to front plinth base, 14cm high CONDITION REPORT: Although this has not been professionally tested we have wound it up and it seems to be working, it is in fairly good order overall with a few minor scratches to the edge of the top of the clock on the metalware. The clock is intact and appears to be in reasonable working order overall with no major problems. A FRENCH GILT BRASS CARRIAGE CLOCK, bevelled glass panels to the front, sides and door with an oval bevelled panel to the top, fitted with a hinged carrying handle, eight day repeating movement, striking on a gong, white enamel face with Roman numerals, stamped H J. Paris, with two keys, height to the top of handle approximately 17cm (condition: in working order at the time of this report)
