A French miniature champleve enamel and gilt brass carriage clock, circa 1900, maker's mark 'DG' and numbered 42120, with key, height 9.5cm. Condition - over wound and currently not running, general wear to gilding and minor losses to enamel, glass ok, light areas of enamel indicating possible restoration.
A mid 19th century French lacquered brass hour repeating carriage clock, in gorge case, with enamelled Roman dial and unsigned movement striking upon a bell, width 3.5in. depth 3in. height 5.25inCONDITION: Overall in very good restored condition, top plate probably original, movement going but not tested for timekeeping, backplate is numbered 76 in the lower left corner and inscribed Hans for the adjustment, no other inscriptions or stamps.
A late 19th century lacquered brass hour quarter repeating carriage alarum clock, with gorge case, with enamelled Roman dial and movement stamped Drocourt & Co, number 14121, striking upon two gongs, width 3.25in. depth 3in. height 5in.CONDITION: Overall in very good clean restored condition, one or two small dirt specks on the dial, top plate probably a later replacement, selector to the base for sonnerie / silence, comes with winding key, going but not tested for timekeeping.
A late 19th century French lacquered brass hour repeating carriage clock, in gorge case, with circular enamelled Roman dial and movement striking on a gong, width 3.5in. depth 3.25in. height 5.5in.CONDITION: Overall in somewhat neglected condition, case is very dirty and rubbed down to the base metal, dial good and clean, hands look original, engine turned surround again oxidised, all glass is good, back door a little loose on its hinges, movement stamped slow / fast, hands and probably 1425 in the lower left corner, escapement probably original, going but not tested for timekeeping, hour repeat slightly out of sync with the hands.

A 19th century French quarter repeating carriage alarm clock, retailed by Leroy & Fils, Regent Street and Paris, with gorge case, enamelled Roman dial, blued steeled hands and movement striking on a bell, width 3.5in. depth 3.25in. height 5.5in.CONDITION: In somewhat neglected condition, case looks to have been overpainted or re-gilt with a matted finish which is now wearing away, dial with a fine hairline crack running from the top left corner into 55, lettering on the dial is feint and there are other tiny dirt specks throughout, hands look original, slightly oxidised, right side panel has a tiny chip in the lower left corner, escapement probably a later replacement, movement running but not tested for timekeeping, repeat function is not working correctly and the larger hand continuously strikes the bell when the repeat is wound, backplate of movement engraved Retard / Avance with the Drocourt stamp to the left of the bell, numbered 9455 beneath the Aiguilles adjustment, also stamped 9003 in the lower left corner, engraved at the base Repousee Por Leroy & Fils ...., matching number 9003 stamped to the base of the case.

A late 19th century French ormolu cased quarter repeating carriage alarm clock, with signed enamelled Roman dial and movement striking on a bell, width 3.75in. depth 3.25in. height 5.75in.CONDITION: Case with a matted gilt finish worn down to the base metal in many places, dial with some light dirt spotting but otherwise good, hands look original, dial with the word Paris beneath 6 o'clock, back door glass with chipping near the lower right corner, escapement possibly original, movement runs but not tested for timekeeping, repeat function partially striking but out of sync, backplate engraved slow/fast alarm at the top, hands above alarm hand and James Walter Marshall, Paris lower down, numbered 909.
J.W. Benson, Old Bond Street, London - Royal Presentation piece. A late 19th century French ormolu cased Petit Sonnerie carriage clock, with enamelled Roman dial and movement striking on two gongs, width 3.75in. depth 3.5in. height 5.75in.CONDITION: Overall in slightly neglected condition, case has mostly been polished down to the base metal, dial with a few dirt specks but otherwise good, hands original, base of case engraved with a Royal presentation inscription to Victor Biddulph from his godmother Victoria R. on his confirmation March 30 1877, glass all good, escapement possibly original, movement going but not tested for timekeeping, repeat mechanism not working properly, slight oxidisation to the gongs, movement engraved SF, hands and numbered 155584, underside with striking / silent / full striking selector, button for repeat is missing, case numbered to match the movement. Original leather travelling case now very tatty, associated winding key.
A late 19th century French hour repeating ormolu carriage clock, examined by Wales & McCulloch, Ludgate Hill, London, with corinthian column case and part silvered arabic dial, movement striking on a gong, width 4.25in. depth 3.5in. height 7in.CONDITION: Case is a pale golden slightly matted tone with oxidisation spots throughout, top handle slightly out of shape and a little worn, dial oxidised with a matted silver and around the numerals pale golden tone, hands look original, glass all good, top plate probably original, movement engraved SF, hands and numbered 9232, movement going but not tested for timekeeping, repeat mechanism working. Comes with original travelling case which is a little rubbed in the usual places and has lost it handle.
A Leroy & Fils French gilt brass repeating carriage clock, bell strike, having white enamel Roman numeral chapter ring with outer Arabic numeral five minutes, with subsidiary Arabic numeral alarm dial, movement "Aig.Reveil, Repassee por Leroy & Fils, Palais Royal 15 & 13 Paris" with "Aiguilles 8729" above, height ex. handle 12.2cm
