A late Victorian combined carriage clock, aneroid barometer, thermometer and compass in gilt brass case with silvered dials and scales, engraved "RHS" monogram, engraved "Made In Paris" to barometer, the back having two hinged doors opening to show mechanisms and movements, with key, case approx. 16cm high x 17cm wide x 7cm deep. His workshops were located at Red Lion Street, Clerkenwell, London. He died in 1875.

Dent a Paris, a French brass carriage clock, engraved case, the rear door with dust covers, rectangular enamelled dial with Roman chapter ring and subsidiary alarm dial, repeating alarm movement, height 13cm, with carry case and associated keys.Condition report:The clock winds, ticks (don't know yet about accuracy), repeats and alarms correctly, case is good, inscription on the dial is worn, associated case and three keys.The underside of the case, internal aspect of the movement door, and base plate below the winding peg are stamped '3016'. Then there is another number stamped on the back of the front movement plate which appears to be '3960'.
