An early 20th century oak cased combination carriage clock/thermometer, each with enamelled dials, with broken swan neck handle, height 18cm, width 19cm.Additional InformationThere is light wear, scuffs and marks to the case, lacking keys, minor scratches and marks to the enamel. Very small chip to the enamel on the clock side and a small hair line crack to the enamel on the top left corner. When wound clock appears to run although we offer no guarantee. Balance is encased so we are unable to confirm the swing.
A late 19th century French gilt brass repeating carriage clock, the gilt dial with engine turned detailing, with Arabic numeral chapter ring above a subsidiary dial, with movement striking on a gong with two hammers, height with handle down 14.5cm, with box and key.Additional InformationThe case with general rubbing and age wear patina. Some minor rubbing to the numbers on the chapter rings and there is a very faint hairline crack between 8 and 4. The movement does wind and run, however the gong continues to strike until wound down.
