A French gilt brass carriage clock, c.1910, in a pillars case, with fluted columns, turned finials and applied blind fretwork frieze and apron, satin brass caryatid scroll mask to front with ivory enamel Arabic dial, single train movement by Richard & Co of Paris, 5¼in. (13.4cm.) high plus handle, one side glass a/f.
A fine French engraved gilt brass carriage clock by Paul Garnier no 1942, the white enamel dial signed PAUL GARNIER HER DU ROI PARIS, with blue roman numerals, the case with canted corners and profusely engraved and chased with scrolling foliage, the backplate with three shuttered winding and adjustment holes, height 12cm, width 9cm, depth 7.5cm. (See illustration) Condition report: Engraving nice and crisp. Gilding very good. Front glass has small but deep scratch. Both sides of glass are in good condition, as is top glass. Springs okay. Ticks but do not know how well it keeps time. Enamel face has fine crack to top left hand corner (see photo) but otherwise in good condition. Hands in good condition.

19TH CENTURY FRENCH BRASS CARRIAGE CLOCK having full depth Roman enamel face with alarm indicator, the face marked: James Ritchie and Son of Edinburgh, the case overall with foliate, scrolled, engraved decoration. Two train striking movement with alarm and repeat. 14cm high approx.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Includes key, the case is overall worn to show no trace of original gilding, the face lettering is worn but the enamel appears sound. Clock runs and strikes but not tested long term.
Brass repeating carriage clock the dial inscribed Edward and Sons Paris. 18cm with earlier carrying case. Carrying case has small losses and various scuffs around exposed edges. Glass no visible damage, brass case slightly scratched, movement repeat is working, cannot get this clock running.
A Garrard & Co. silver plated carriage clock, brass, timepiece only, the movement stamped "Henley, England". CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds and is currently ticking away. All of the glass panels are in good condition. The clock case itself is structurally sound but is beginning to tarnish in places and some of the silver plating is missing and rubbed. We do have the key.
A 19th century rosewood cased carriage clock, the enamelled dial marked "Henry Marc Paris", two-train movement striking on a bell. Height excluding carrying handle 13.5 cm, width 11 cm. (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The clock winds on both trains. It appears to strike as it should when the hands are advanced. The case is in extremely good condition. The brass handle is a little tarnished. The front glass is in good condition, The side panels are in good order as is the brass work. The rear hinges and door handle are original and in good order. There is a hairline running from the centre of the dial across to the numeral three and other areas of the dial are very slightly discoloured.
