Henry Marc, Paris - a 19th century French brass repeating carriage clock, the signed white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, the movement striking on a gong, signed B, height with handle raised 17.5 cm. Henry Marc was either a retailer or assembler of carriage clocks, the B is thought to relate to Brunelot of 10 Rue Oberkampf, Paris who exhibited at the 1889 Paris Exposition.
Rare and unusual circular fusee "R.E.D." carriage type travelling clock with two-plane lever escapement,, the 3.25" white dial signed E. Arts & Crafts silver cased carriage clock, with enamelled dial having Arabic numerals, raised on four bun feet, Birmingham 1906, Liberty & Co., 9cm tall.CONDITION REPORT:The movement does not wind or run. There is only one hand present. The movement is not completely secure within the case.There are some damages to the enamel on the face (see images)The case appears slightly out of shape, rear door does not close without minor adjustment.The top handle also appears mishapen, the four bun feet are present but there are two screws visible from the bottom which look out of place for the piece.
