An Edwardian French brass carriage clock, with two-train striking movement, 1172 grams. Height excluding handle 12 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The case is generally a little dirty and beginning to tarnish but in generally good order. All of the glass panels are in good condition and undamaged. We can see no damage to the face. There may be a very tiny chip to the top right hand corner of the dial but this is obscured by the case in any event. The clock is currently ticking away but is not striking. The strike train is fully wound. The going train winds as it should.
A French brass carriage clock, shaped outline, raised on short feet, cased. CONDITION REPORT: Height to top of case excluding carrying handle 10 cm. There are no visible cracks to the dial. The case is in generally good condition with no significant issues. The front glass has a small chip to the bottom right hand corner. The rear right hand glass has a similar chip to the top left hand corner. The other two panels are in good order. The clock winds and we have the key but it is not ticking for more than a few seconds at a time. We would imagine that the mechanism is simply a little dry as all seems present and correct. The escapement is original.

The glass panels are all in good order. The pin which holds the left hand side of the handle in place is missing and there is a wire replacement. The clock is fully wound on both trains and we have not had it running.

CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains and is ticking away and striking as it should. The repeat mechanism appears to be working. The dial is in good order with the exception of a small loss to the very top right hand corner which is only visible when looking at the clock from underneath as this is beneath the brasswork. The front glass panel has a chip to the inside top right hand corner. All other glass panels are in good order. The case is in generally good condition and there are no significant losses to the original lacquer.
