A 20th century lacquered brass cased repeating carriage clock The white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals inscribed Matthew Norman; together with two further 20th century brass cased carriage clocks, one housed in a carrying case; and a small brass lantern type clock. A Swiss silver and enamel cased miniature repeating carriage clock The white dial with Roman numerals within floral swags, on a blue enamel ground with scroll handle and flattened bun feet, stamped Argent 0935, maker's mark of JTC and stamped number 2432. 8.5 cms high. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear, some surface scratching, one or two frits to enamel, movement unsigned, no. 32 inside rear door.

He supplied clocks to other fine makers in particular Paul Garnier. 06.10.14, Back door glass with a minor chip to the top right hand side corner, dial is clean, movement is clean, in going order, strike and repeat are working.
