Late Victorian travelling clock with French timepiece movement with lever escapement, circular white enamel dial with Roman numerals, in a silver carriage clock-style case with scroll handle, on four bun feet (London 1895), maker - B. C. D., underside and inside rear door stamped - A. Barrett & Sons, 63 and 64 Piccadilly London, 10cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. silver case has some minor scratching and denting, feet are distorted, one damaged. Hallmarks nibbled but legible. Interior of back door is scratched where winding key hits it. front glass is scratched and enamel dial is scratched in its centre. Movement does not sit centrally in the case and we are unable to confirm if it is in full working order
Late 19th century carriage clock with French eight day timepiece movement with lever escapement, white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and gilt metal hands, in a tortoiseshell case with white metal mounts and applied initials, 12cm overall height, with leather travelling case (main key and hands adjuster integral with movement) CONDITION REPORT General overall condition quite good however movement is fully would and escapement will not keep going. Dial is undamaged. Case has dried out and lost its sheen. There is a full length crack on edge to left of dial and some surface wear. Carrying case is not original to clock and is worn overall and discoloured, glass is missing

(11.4 by 8.3 by 4.4cm) In good condition. Back plate missing. Rust coloured stain to the interior of the glass. Small rust-coloured stain to the centre of the dial. Not running. Escapement wheel turning freely. Rust on steel components.
