A 19th century French gilt metal cased petite/grande sonnerie striking carriage clock. The rectangular case with swing handle above a glazed top and sides, standing on a moulded plinth base, the movement with lever escapement, rectangular face with subsidiary alarm dial and strike regulators to the underside - Height 17 cm Condition report: No key needs some attention, minor chip to dial, some wear to gilt but no breaks or damage. Alarm hand now off. Three scuffs to case.
