French grand sonnerie striking, repeating and alarm carriage clock by Leroy & Cie, Paris, gilt metal Anglaise Riche case with Ionic columns, two circular enamelled dials, the main dial signed Leroy & Cie, platform escapement, the movement striking on two gongs, grand sonnerie, petit sonnerie and silent selector to the base, the backplate of the movement signed and numbered 18124, 16cm.Condition report:The case is in good condition, glass panels all good an intact, inscription on the main dial is worn, alarm dial is cracked with small loss to the centre near the hands. A French repeating brass carriage clock. Late 19th century, in a gorge case, the movement stamped for Henri Jacot, Paris, height 14cm, in a leather travel case.The serial number is 12508.The overhead handle supports are sheared off and missing, the handle on the rear of the case is also a crude replacement.The repeat mechanism functions, and the movement winds but is not currently working.

Along with a modern Mercedes Art Nouveau style designed metal cased clock with floral detail, approx. 26.5cm high. Along with a Bayard 8 day brass cased carriage clock, approx. 12cm high. A miniature French blue guilloche enamel carriage clock, considered to be by Cartier, early 20th century, the rectangular body with striped decoration and applied circular boss monogrammed with an "M", fitted a slightly convex Roman dial with beetle and poker hands testing 18ct gold. Base plate struck with French boar's head hallmark and a rubbed off maker's mark under Cartier signature. Supported on a scrolled sepia agate capital base (sic) 7 cm wide x 5 cm deep x 8 cm overall height.Cartier stamped base plate No: 1991Movement engraved: Aiguilles 1991For a similar example please follow the link.
