A Victorian gilt-metal giant twin fusee striking Carriage Clock with up-and-down dial, Charles Frodsham, London, No. 1319, the white enamel Roman dial signed Cha's Frodsham & Co, To the Queen 84 Strand London 1319, with blued fleur de lys hands, white enamel up-and-down dial below, all within a gilt mask intricately pierced and engraved with scrolls, the movement with thick brass plates secured by five double-screwed conical shaped pillars, twin fusees and gilt escapement platform, hour and half-hour strike on a coiled gong, rear facing seconds dial and steel strike/silent lever, the backplate engraved Cha's Frodsham & Co To the Queen 84 Strand No. 1319, the case with heavy bevelled glasses, 8in (20.25cm) high, with the red leather travelling box and key.
