A late 19th century French engraved gilt brass gorge-cased repeating carriage clock with alarm, with scroll engraved case and enamelled Roman dial, unsigned movement number 5235, width 7.5cm depth 6.5cm height 11.5cm***CONDITION REPORT***Honest untouched condition, case has a good rich colour to the gilding with just a little light rubbing at the extremities and a few small scattered oxidisation marks, some light black sparkling to the dial which otherwise looks good, bevelled glazing all good, backplate instructions inscribed in English with just a number and no makers mark, movement runs but stops, repeat mechanism appears to be our repeating but is out of sync, comes with associated key.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
