An early to mid 19th century 'tumbling double acrobatic toy', the two acrobats dressed in bright coloured fabrics with metal mounts, both attached to stylised painted poles, approx. 14.5cm long x 7.7cm high. Along with the original paper covered wooden rectangular stand with hinges to assemble a multi-step platform, approx. 31.5cm long x 8.5cm deep x 8.8cm high. Further details: old repairs to feet and sticks in places (signs of glue etc), loose areas commensurate with usage and age, acrobats have slight loss, hole to fabric clothes to one, minor stains / marks to clothes, loss to stitching in areas and loss / scratches to paint to areas. Stand has loss to paper in areas, split to bottom stairs, smaller / minor splits to other areas of stand, age related wear, but clasp intact and hinges working, general wear commensurate to signs of usage / age.

Housed with the original rounded corners printed inner in VG+ condition, some minor handling/ storage wear.
