A Queen Anne Silver Tankard, Robert Timbrell, London 1703, with slightly tapering sides, double step cover with crenulated lip, cast scrolling thumbpiece and an S scroll handle, the body engraved with contemporary mantling enclosing the initials N over GJ, 20cm high, 29oz 9dwt Fully marked to cover and to the right of the handle, part marked to handle. Clear marks. Deep scratches to hexagonal terminal of handle. Lid shuts cleanly and tightly, if a little off centre. Overall good order. Removable hinge pin
An Emerald and Diamond Five Stone Ring, the step cut emeralds alternate with old cut diamonds, with pairs of tiny rose cut diamonds in between, on a yellow carved setting, to a plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 1.00 carat approximately, finger size P The ring is in good condition. The emeralds are a little scuffed. It is stamped 'VW' and '18CT' and in our opinion it would test as gold. It is fitted with a ring clip which is stamped '9CT'. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. The girdle edges are a little nibbled. Gross weight 4.4 grams. CR made 7th January 2015
An Art Deco Diamond and Ruby Ring, an old cut diamond in a white rubbed over setting, within a shaped border of step cut rubies in a yellow channel setting, to an outer border of diamonds, total estimated diamond weight 0.25 carat approximately, finger size G The ring is in good condition. It bears no hallmark, but is stamped '750' and in our opinion it would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 3.0 grams. An Emerald and Diamond Pendant on Chain, the drop pendant set with diamonds, and a pear cut and step cut emeralds inset, drop length 6cm, on a white snake link chain, length 40cm This is in good condition. The chain fastens with a bolt ring catch. Both the necklace and the pendant are stamped '750' and in our opinion they would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour J/K/L, clarity I1/I2/I3. Gross weight 11.6 grams. CR made 21st January 2015

It is hallmarked with sponsor's mark 'WJS', Birmingham, 1981. The principal diamond measures: 8.62mm x 8.43mm x 4.96mm = 2.20 carat approximately. An Art Deco Ruby and Diamond Brooch, the plaque brooch inset with old cut and baguette cut diamonds, a step cut ruby and two oval mixed cut rubies, in white claw and millegrain settings, total estimated diamond weight 3.50 carat approximately, measures 5.1cm by 2.1cm The brooch is in good condition. It fastens with a pin and push barrel catch. It bears no hallmark, nor stamps. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 12.0 grams. Anton Fruhauf, large aquamarine and gold dress ring, in naturalistic setting, step-cut aquamarine weighing approximately 30cts within a diamond set gold bark textured mount, signed A Fruhauf , stamped 750 for 18ct gold. Provenance: from the collection of Liesl Muller-Johnson. Anton Fruhauf - Artist Jeweller - Italian 1914-1999: Anton studied at Munich School of Applied Art and worked as a goldsmith in Rome before returning to the family business. From the 1950's his avant guard jewellery designs drew international attention, in the following decades he won prizes for design in Austria, Italy, Germany and Japan. A gold medal was awarded for his' Kings bracelet' in 1957. Fruhauf's work appears in The Boston Museum of Fine Arts and in the Pforzhiem Jewellery museum.
