Art Deco period silver rectangular cased watch, dial with Arabic numerals surmounting minute track and subsidiary seconds dial, fitted with a manual wind 15 jewel movement, marked Swiss made, mounted on a leather strap, and an early twentieth century French pedometer/step counter, white enamel dial with outer scale marked in units of ten to 100, and subsidiary dials, steel hands, the exhibition back revealing mechanism marked Brevet 4867, FL depose and fitted in a nickel case . Watch shows signs of wear and mechanism not functioning at time of inspection.Pedometer appears complete and case with signs of wear commensurate with age. Not tested.
JODY GRIND - ONE STEP ON (TRA 210). A fantastic original UK copy of the not often seen Transatlantic released LP from 1969 (TRA 210). The record (MCPS above 'stereo side one' and beneath 'stereo side two') is in Ex+ condition with a few very faint and wispy markings when viewed under intense light. The gatefold sleeve is in very nice Ex condition with just a little wear to the laminate.

Titles are Unknown Pleasures (UK original FACT 10 matrix/runout FACT 10 INSIDE A A PORKY PRIME CUT STEP/OUTSIDE 1 B THIS IS THE WAY A PORKY PRIME CUT - very distinctive magenta colour visible when held to a strong light source, 1st pressing! Ex+ very nice and clean record with just a couple of very faint wispy markings/Ex textured original sleeve with some minor edgewear with a small 'wavy' line starting from the top left of the front, not pen, complete with Ex condition original printed inner), Still (UK FACT 40 double with 'THE CHICKEN WON'T STOP/THE CHICKEN STOPS HERE' etched on side 1 and 4 respectively, complete with original die cut inners/Ex 'stock' gatefold sleeve, a very neat example), FAC-2 A Factory Sample (late 2000s private reissue that's been done very well including reproductions of the 5 stickers!), Love Will Tear Us Apart (2009 clear vinyl), Transmission (FAC 13 textured sleeve - VG+/VG) and Interview Disc Limited Edition (private, Ex condition).

A yellow metal and emerald set mourning brooch, having central filigree work double flower head set step cut emerald with ribbon form filigree surround suspending two drops, verso with glazed circular hair holder, (yellow metal assessed as gold), (4.8g), together with a yellow metal and amethyst set flower form mourning brooch, of circular form with filigree work border, having central round cut amethyst with six oval cut amethysts radiating outwards, these alternating with applied cast and engraved flowers, the verso with gilt metal circular frame for hair, (yellow metal assessed as gold, two amethysts replaced by red garnets), diameter 3.5cm, (total weight 12.7g). Also another mourning brooch and a white metal and marcasite brooch, this fashioned as an anchor with crown above, flanked by branches of leaves, all set six faceted marcasite, (white metal assessed as silver). An Art Deco silver and guilloche enamel dressing set, Birmingham 1913-14, of angular design, comprising a hand mirror, a pair of hair brushes and a pair of clothes brushes, having sunburst ivory coloured guilloche enamel backs with amber coloured bevelled border and set central step cut rectangular amber coloured glass within applied silver claw mount, the hand mirror with original bevelled glass plate, together with the matching comb back (lacking comb). Horatio Herbert Kitchener; a hand written letter from Kitchener, Sirdarieh, Cairo, dated 26th June. "My Dear Mrs Gordon, You should tell your son to put his name down officially for the Egyptian Army that is the first step and though I cannot promise him a vacancy as I have a very long list I will see what can be done later. It is very sad to hear of poor Mrs Gordon. Please remember me kindly to her husband. I shall be leaving for the South again before long and we shall have another advance up the line which I hope will come off all right. Very sincerely yours Herbert Kitchener". Lord Kitchener and the Gordon family were distantly related by marriage. This letter was written to Arabella Gordon, wife of Col. James Henry Gordon, concerning her son, George Hamilton Gordon.
