Art Deco 1940s diamond and pink stone dress ring of 'Odeonesque' design, the rectangular step cut pink stone flanked by rose cut diamonds and exaggerated domed gold disc shoulders on tapered shank. Ring size approximately QCondition report: The ring is in good condition commensurate with the age of the piece. Continental hallmark to the outside of the shank. Tests as approximately 9ct - 14ct gold. The pink stone is believed to be synthetic but has not been tested, it measures approximately 10.75mm x 8.85mm x 4.9mm and is in good condition. Gross weight approximately 8.5grams

Edwardian style emerald and diamond pendant necklace with a rectangular step cut emerald and diamond cluster suspended from openwork diamond scrolls with further emeralds, old cut and single cut diamonds in millegrain setting on trace chain, the two principal emeralds measuring approximately 5.0mm x 3.6mm x 3.7mm and 4.3mm x 3.8mm x 1.6mm, accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services report stating that the two principal emeralds are of natural Columbian origin with indications of minor clarity enhancement. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.70cts, length of drop approximately 50mm, length of necklace approximately 460mm. A gold ring, claw set with a cut cornered rectangular step cut amethyst, detailed indistinctly 14 K, ring size S and a half, gross weight 7.3 gms, with a case. Condition Report There are a few very minor surface nicks to the edge, one or two scratches including one to the table facet of the amethyst. This table facet scratch is visible to the naked eye, claws starting to show signs of wear, shank in good condition. Amethyst is of medium colour saturation.

TWO LARGE ORNAMENTAL STEP LADDERS.

Bernard Instone, a matched set of six Arts and Crafts style silver and enamelled coffee spoons, Birmingham 1924 and 1957, step shouldered and pointed bowls, planished to the back, the terminals with champleve Celtic knot and floral enamel terminals, two sets of three, 10cm long, 2.89ozt (6)

VICTORIAN CAST IRON STREET LAMP, large tapering square lantern on four scrolled supports on fluted column with acanthus leaf base, 403cms to base, including cylindrical footing 505cms Condition Report: lantern with glass replaced, later painted.The glass has been replaced, with modern glass, it has images of boats on it. The putty around the glass looks very messy. The glass is intact, no damage.There are lots of dents and scratches all over.There is wiring within.Could not see any cracks, but the lantern has been heavily re-painted.The post does have some scuffs and paint peeling in a few places, otherwise all good, extremely heavy.The total height of the post is 420cm’s.It would sit in the ground/concrete up to the step (see photos) The step height is 102cm’s.There are two small holes, I’m guessing for the wiring, I’m not sure. There is one just under the step and one about half way up. There is no wiring currently inside the post.The wiring has been cut just under the lantern.The lantern collar would slide over the top section of the post and there are two bolts which tighten holding it in place. 

A LARGE QINGBAI SHRINE, SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTYChina, 1127-1279. The thick-walled body supported on a slightly splayed foot, the exterior covered entirely with a pale bluish-white glaze. An opening cut into one side has a protruding shelf at the bottom, with applied scroll decoration above, and loops at either side to fasten a door, all surmounted by a domed roof decorated with further applied scrolls and with a bud-shaped finial.Provenance: Parthenon Gallery, London, 2003. Dr. Koos de Jong, acquired from the above (invoice not available). Dr. de Jong is a Dutch art historian and has been privately collecting Chinese art over decades. He has authored hundreds of articles and several books on Dutch fine and decorative arts spanning from the Middle Ages to the modern era. In 2013, he published an extensive study of Chinese riding gear in “Dragon & Horse, Saddle Rugs and Other Horse Tack from China and Beyond”. Between 1976 and 2009 he worked for numerous museums across the Netherlands and was the director of the European Ceramic Work Center in Den Bosch.Condition: Superb condition with minor wear and firing flaws, such as glaze pooling, glaze recesses, and fritting, minimal chipping to the step below the frontal aperture, some nibbling to foot.Weight: 1,735 gDimension: Height 29.5 cmLiterature comparison: Chinese Ceramics Song-Yuan, Taipei 1997, p. 388.
