LONDON' on the rib, the right barrel 13-bore and smoothbore, the left barrel 20-bore and rifled with two deep grooves for a belted ball / winged bullet, patent breeches engraved with scrollwork and inlaid with two gold lines on the rib and each with pierced platinum plug, scroll engraved tang, signed locks retaining traces of original faded case-hardened finish and each engraved with scrollwork and game birds, figured walnut half-stock with chequered grip and fore-end, grip-safety, scroll engraved iron mounts, silver escutcheon, and original brass-mounted ramrod, London proof marks.
