Each edition is a faithful reproduction of the original first edition, each with slipcase. Nine are still sealed. Otherwise Fine or As New.

Atchinson 2/Shrops.L.I., Kings South Africa Medal with clasps, South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902, named to Cpt. C.E. Atchinson, Shrop.L.I., 1915 Star trio with mentioned in dispatches oak leaf on victory medal, named to Lt.Col. C.E. Atchinson and Cpt. Atchinson Shrop L.I. WW1 memorial/death plaque named to Charles Earnest Atchinson. Extract from the VC and DSO book - Distinguished Service Order 1886-1915 Lieutenant Colonel, King's Shropshire Light Infantry, killed in action 24 August 1917, aged 42. Son of Mary I A Atchison of Elm House, Catisfield, Fareham, Hants, and the late Lt Col C H Atchison RA. Went to France December 1914. Buried in Menin Road, South Military Cemetery. 1-C-36 ATCHISON, C E Major, joined the Shropshire Light Infantry, and served in the South African War, 1899-1902 (slightly wounded). He took part in the operations in the Orange Free State, Feb to May, 1900, including operations at Paardebery (17 to 26 Feb); present during the operations in Cape Colony, south of Orange River, 1899-1900; served in the Transvaal, Sept 1901 to 31 May 1902 (Queen's medal with three clasp, and King's medal with two clasps). He became Captain 11 Feb 1902 - was promoted to Major; served in the European war, and was created Companion of the Distinguished Service Order (London Gazette, 23 June 2015). "C.E Atchison, Major, Shropshire Light Infantry. For distinguished service in the field. He was killed in action 24 August 1917. Meissen group, The rape of Proserpine, blue crossed swords mark and incised numbers 1448, 26cm, damaged.Condition report:Spot restoration to: the female's raised left hand; the applied leaves to the reverse of the figure; the top branch and leaves of the tree stump on the reverse; the end folds of the maroon of the cape. A length of Proserpine's hair has broken off, and a scrolled gilt end from the base has broken off - both pieces present. No other evident hairlines or losses.
