Six trays of Royal Albert English fine bone china 'Moonlight Rose' design items, to include: twenty one piece tea set with teapot, sauce boat on stand, dinner plates, other plates, lidded tureen, two handles soup bowls, stands, clock, cake plate, tray, bowls, mugs, small jug and basin set, table linen, salt and pepper, cups, coasters, placemats etc. (6) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Too many items to condition individually. Generally good, with little to no wear on most items. No wear to gilding noted. Most if not all items are first quality (not every item checked). Lidded tureen cracked and chipped to the base. Jug and basin are grubby but have no obvious damage. Teapot has no obvious damage. Some plates have some very minor cutlery marks. 63 items total approx.
Ca. 200-450 AD.A bronze bowl with smooth walls both inside and out. The flaring sides of the bowl gradually extend towards its opening, creating an aesthetically pleasing form that also enhances its functional capacity for storage. The bottom of the basin is skillfully engraved with an eight-pointed star motif, capturing attention and admiration. Bronze bowls like this one served a multifaceted purpose. They were utilized for a variety of domestic and ceremonial functions, ranging from everyday household activities to elaborate religious rituals. As vessels of practicality, these bowls were employed for storing and serving food, liquids, or other commodities. Their generous amplitude allowed for ample quantities to be accommodated, ensuring their utility in communal settings. Comprising a pitcher, bowl and two dishes, all decorated with birds, H30cm Condition Report: The lid of the straining dish has been broken and the base has a chip and some hairline cracks. The brush dish has hairline cracks. The basin has a repair to the rim. Some wear including scratches and rubbing to the decoaration and bases.
