A George V silver two handled sugar basin, hallmarked Birmingham 1926 by Adie Brothers Ltd, numbered to base, 14.5 x 9 x 6cm, and a George III silver milk/cream jug, hallmarked London 1809, floral design, indistinct makers mark, 13 x 7.2 cm, combined weight of 9.1 ozt / 286 grams. Condition Report: sugar basin in fair condition, with light scratches and slight tarnishing commensurate with age and wear, few areas of denting, hallmarks clear and defined. Milk jug in ok condition, moderate denting, tarnishing and scratching commensurate with age and wear engraved 535 to base, partially worn hallmarks.

The obverse side features an allegorical depiction of Liberty and Britannia, with Liberty adorned with stars and holding a torch, and Britannia in a Corinthian helmet and holding a trident.
