Faience device for washing from the Riga factory of the partnership of M.S. Kuznetsov, in the Art Nouveau style. It consists of a faience basin and a jug with a floral and wave ornament of the Art Nouveau era. Pitcher height: 31 cm. Basin diameter: 40 cm. Blue underglaze brand in a ribbon, under a double-headed eagle, of the M.S. Kuznetsova. Below K.R.M. (Kuznetsovskaya Riga Manufactory) in Dreyllin sgbusch (in Dreylini). A large Chinese porcelain Canton celadon ground centre bowl, 19th century, the large circular basin with a deep cavetto decorated to throughout the interior in famille rose enamels with an abundance of flora and fauna, the rim similarly decorated against a gilt ground, the exterior of the bowl decorated with three floral sprays, 42.5cm diameterCondition report - No obvious cracks, chips or restoration. Extensive scratches to the interior of the bowl. Areas of enamel loss can be seen to the decoration. Gilt wear to the rim. Pitting and fritting can be seen throughout.
