Trained as an artist and sculptor, Hafner brought a flair for form and design to the ceramic wares she designed for companies such as Tiffany & Co, NY, and Rosenthal Studio Line. Her avant-garde and distinctive style earned her both critical praise and commercial success, and her internationally exhibited one-off sculptural pieces are to be found in museums including the American Craft Museum, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
