The Individual. [Cambridge: W. H. Smith], Tuesday October 25 1836 - Tuesday March 14 1837. Numbers I - XV bound in one volume, 8vo (195 x 118mm). Each number printed on different coloured paper (a few light stains). Modern calf-backed marbled boards. "Gentle Reader, I, The Individual, who now address you, intend proceeding in this Periodical, after a manner totally different from any which have been adopted by my immediate predecessors. I do not aspire to be either king of the Fresh-men, or `Prince of the Fellows`. To rake up the ashes of Addison and Steele, or to bring down upon myself an Irish thunderstorm by abusing Daniel O`Connell, will be equally far from my object or intentions. To the more congenial columns of the `Morning Slop-basin` or the `Brick-bat and Bludgeon Register` I leave the discussion of such matters" (the opening of the first number). The British Library have the first 15 numbers too, suggesting that this may have been all that were published: however, at the end of number XV is the notice "No. XVI. will appear on Tuesday, April the 11th."
