A Hammersley "Blue Cornflower" tea set, 6 cups, 6 saucers, sugar basin, cream jug and teapot. CONDITION REPORT: The coffee pot lid has a hairline crack running from beneath the knop right down to the base. The coffee pot itself is in good order with only minor staining to the base of the foot rim. One cup has a significant loss to the rim and a full height hairline crack. All other pieces are in good order with no significant issues.
A Victorian tea service, blue white and gilt, comprising teapot and stand, large basin, milk jug, two sandwich plates, ten large cups, six small cups and ten saucers. CONDITION REPORT: Three of the larger shallow cups have hairline cracks. Seven are in good order. One of the six teacups has a three quarter hairline crack and another appears to have had some overpainting to the gilding and possible restoration. The other four are in good order although a little dirty. One saucer has a three quarter width hairline crack. The two sandwich plates are in good order as is the circular plate and basin. The teapot is significantly discoloured particularly around the handle and there is a suggestion that the spout has been restored. The lid is in good order. The cream jug again looks to have had restoration to the handle and is discoloured and has a hairline crack. The gilding is reasonably good on all pieces but there is some rubbing and some loss.
A Shelley bone china "Balloon tree" tea service for ten place settings (38 pieces). CONDITION REPORT: The teapot is significantly cracked and has had a break and glued repair. Two of the tea cps have hairline cracks at the base of the foot rim but are serviceable. The sugar basin has a similar hairline crack. One saucer has slight dark marks along the top of the moulded ribs. All other pieces are in good order with no damage, no repairs, no chips and no restoration.
