The designs on this service are those described as The Classical Humanities, landscapes, ruins, Rivalx Abbey (1792) spelling, Llangollen Bridge, animals etc. A service in white porcelain with similarly assorted bat printed designs may be seen in the Spode Musuem, Stoke-on-Trent.
