Cretaceous Period, 110-125 million years BP. A pair of fossil hadrosaur Charonosaurus eggs on matrix, from Xixia basin, Henan Province, China, retaining evidence of the original leathery surface. 5.6 kg, 26cm (10 1/4"). Acquired on the London art market prior to 1980. The hadrosaurs are known as the duck-billed dinosaurs, due to the similarity of their heads to those of modern ducks. In addition to the duck bill, Charonosaurus also had a large head crest. Fine condition.

Property of a London gentleman; acquired before 1980. The hadrosaurs are known as the duck-billed dinosaurs, due to the similarity of their heads to those of modern ducks. In addition to the duck bill, Charonosaurus also had a large head crest. Fine condition.
A Minton Haddon Hall tea set, six cups, six saucers, six plates, sandwich tray, teapot, sugar basin and milk jug and with two tier cake stand (no supports). CONDITION REPORT: Three of the tea cups have blemishes to the Minton back stamp suggesting that they are seconds. Five of the six saucers have the same issue. One saucer has a firing fault to the underside running from the outside edge towards the centre approximately 5 cm in length. All the other items appear to be free from defects.
