Because the vendor was not in the room with the Beatles when these were signed, we cannot confirm if they were signed by the Beatles themselves or by others (possibly Neil Aspinall). The vendor explains how he got the autographs:  'In 1963 I was the rhythm guitarist for Rockin Henri and the Hayseeds. We were in part a comedic rock group and had limited success with a parody of Gracie Fields "Sally" recorded on Decca records, still available! We were invited to join the Beatles tour for 4 nights, on 4th September 1963 at the Gaumont theatre Worcestershire, 5th September at the Gaumont theatre, Taunton, 6th September at the Odeon theatre Luton and the 7th September at the Fairfield Hall Croydon. At one of the shows I knocked on the Beatles dressing room door and asked if I could have the groups autographs on the back page of the shows programme. The autographs were returned to me immediately but unfortunately I only kept the back page of the programme.'
